Geraniums Information –
Geraniums (Pelargonium x hortorum) are perfect for nearly every single zone in the garden, including container gardening and hanging planters. As long as geraniums are provided plenty of sunlight during the day and temperatures that don’t dip below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, your flowers will thrive beautifully. Geraniums require well-draining, rich soil that is bountiful in organic matter; however, if the soil is too heavy, perlite or peat can be added.
When watering your geraniums, water heavily when the soil begins to dry out. You should deadhead your spent flowers to keep the rest of the plant pruned and healthy. Wilting usually indicates that the geranium plant needs to be repotted in a new container or is lacking nutrients.
