Cabbage Looper– As moths they are gray to brown in color with a small lighter colored spot near the center of each wing. They have a wing span of 1 1/2″ Caterpillars have light green bodies with pale white or yellow stripes. The larvae move with the characteristic looping motion. Cabbage loopers are very heavy feeders and can strip a plant of its foliage in a very short amount of time. They are chewing insects.
