Grub Worms– Grub worm damage can be seen on St. Augustine as well as Bermuda. As they begin to eat the roots of both grasses the grass will begin to die in patches. If you see the signs of grub worm damage and find several grubs then you will need to treat as soon as possible. Grub worm season begins about 5-6 weeks after you begin to see the June Bugs in early summer and will continue until early winter. They are white with brown heads and are usually curled up in the shape of a G. Contact your local Plant Shed for more information on how to control these insects.
